Trainer & Assessor – TAE Qualifications

About the role

Blueprint Career Development is seeking a qualified Trainer and Assessor to deliver nationally recognised Training and Assessment (TAE) qualifications. Based in Brisbane, the role involves planning, delivering and assessing courses, supporting learners to achieve competency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and prepare learning resources, assessment tools and workshop materials for TAE programmes.
• Facilitate engaging classroom and workshop sessions for diverse learner groups.
• Conduct competency‑based assessments, provide constructive feedback and record outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with RTO standards, AQTF/Standards for RTOs and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners to keep training content current and relevant.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of course design and delivery.

Required profile

• TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience designing, delivering and assessing competency‑based training in an RTO or VET environment.
• Strong knowledge of RTO compliance requirements, assessment validation and record‑keeping.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant industry experience in vocational or adult education, preferably with holistic or empowerment‑focused programmes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning tools.
