Trainer & Assessor (Contractor) – Queensland & NSW

About the role

Baseline Training is seeking experienced Trainer & Assessors on a contractor basis to deliver high‑quality, face‑to‑face training across its purpose‑built facility in Pinkenba and at client sites throughout Queensland and New South Wales. The role involves planning, delivering and assessing vocational education programmes while ensuring compliance with national standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver face‑to‑face training and competency‑based assessments for a range of industry qualifications.
• Prepare and maintain training resources, equipment and documentation.
• Record student progress and compliance data accurately.
• Develop and refine assessment tools and learning materials.
• Participate in validation, moderation, audits and quality‑assurance activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support training delivery.
• Provide day‑to‑day training administration support.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116 or TAE40110).
• Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., CPP20218, PUA20622, PUA30622, RII30719).
• Units of competency in first aid, CPR and high‑risk work (e.g., HLTAID009, MSMPER200).
• Minimum five years experience in the VET sector with strong RTO compliance knowledge.
• Full Australian working rights and active ABN.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using digital learning and assessment systems.
