Trades Assistant – Maintenance Support

About the role

Join Lineage’s Facilities & Engineering team as a Trades Assistant, supporting maintenance and repairs across Brisbane sites. This hands‑on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, fixing equipment, and contributing to a safety‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist tradespeople with maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns to restore operations quickly.
• Support preventative maintenance programmes to minimise downtime.
• Carry out basic repair work and servicing tasks across warehouse facilities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop and report faults.

Required profile

• 1–2 years’ experience in a similar hands‑on role.
• Experience using power tools in mechanical/electrical environments.
• Valid driver’s licence, forklift licence and EWP/Boom licence.
• Strong work ethic, able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Positive, safety‑focused attitude.
