Trade Yard Team Member

About the role

Finlaysons, a manufacturer of building components for the Queensland construction industry and part of the Total Tools Hardware Group, is looking for a reliable, energetic team player for its Trade Yard in Woodridge. This is a casual role with a roster from Monday to Friday, suited to someone who enjoys physical work, variety and helping tradies and builders get what they need quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform physical work, including some heavy lifting
• Load and unload trucks with timber and building materials
• Pick, pack and organise stock so deliveries are accurate
• Help tradies in the yard get their orders sorted quickly and efficiently
• Replenish stock and keep the yard clean and safe
• Deliver good customer service

Required profile

• A current driver's licence and a forklift licence (essential)
• Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
• Good communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Timber and hardware knowledge is helpful, but training is offered
• Attention to detail, a sense of urgency and a safety-focused approach, complying with all WHS requirements
