Trade Documentation Officer

About the role

The Trade Documentation Officer is responsible for managing all paper and electronic trade documentation to support smooth trade transaction processing and excellent customer service. Working within ANZ’s Group Operations, the role ensures documents are received, scanned, indexed and routed in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, split, scan and index trade documents onto the Trade 360 system.
• Attach documents to the appropriate request records and monitor transaction queues to meet service level agreements.
• Provide information required for document processing and ensure completeness of each file.
• Print and execute guarantees, organise guarantee swaps and manage external courier services for document delivery.
• Apply non‑financial risk, sanctions, credit and operational risk assessments in accordance with ANZ policies.
• Maintain accurate records, adhere to loss‑control procedures and support both internal and external customers.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage competing customer demands.
• Attention to detail and commitment to compliance and risk standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with document management systems, preferably Trade 360.
• Experience handling scanning, indexing and courier coordination.
