Trade Counter Assistant - Morphettville

About the role

Reece, Australia's leading supplier of plumbing and bathroom products, is hiring a Trade Counter Assistant for its Morphettville branch. You will help plumbers and other tradespeople access the products they need for building and renovation projects and carry out other tasks that keep the branch running smoothly. The role suits someone motivated to grow their career within Reece, with learning opportunities to move into managerial positions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service and product information
• Provide quotes in person and by phone
• Pick orders, pack them and handle stock control
• Keep the branch tidy and safe
• Occasionally deliver to customers using a company vehicle

Required profile

• Previous retail sales or customer service experience, enjoying helping customers in person and by phone
• Ability to pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information is accurate
• Clean, valid driver's licence and willingness to work various shifts, including weekends
• Strong desire to develop a career locally, within the network or at head office

• Tech-savvy and willing to learn new systems
