Trade Counter Assistant - Castle Hill (Actrol)

About the role

Actrol, part of the Reece group, is Australia's leading supplier of plumbing and bathroom products and the home of refrigeration. As part of its Branch Staff team in Castle Hill, the Trade Counter Assistant helps engineers, project managers and other tradespeople access the products they need for major projects, while keeping customers happy and the branch running smoothly. The role sits in a talent hub designed to fast-track development and build the skills needed for future leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service and product information
• Provide quotes in person and over the phone
• Carry out pick-and-pack and stock control
• Maintain a safe, organised and welcoming branch environment
• Make deliveries to customers using a company vehicle
• Take part in on-the-job training and develop operational and commercial skills

Required profile

• Previous experience in retail sales or leadership, enjoying helping customers in person and by phone
• Clean, valid driver's licence and willingness to work various shifts, including weekends
• Leadership potential and a growth mindset
• Wishes to develop their career locally or within the broader network

Required skills

• Ability to use a computer and willingness to learn new systems
• Customer service and communication skills
