Theatre Nurse (RN & CN) - Scrub, Anaesthetics, PACU

About the role

Stream Healthcare is recruiting experienced Registered Nurses and Clinical Nurses (including Clinical Nurse Specialists) for perioperative roles in private hospitals and day surgery facilities. Positions are advertised for Brisbane, Darwin, Adelaide and more, covering Scrub Scout, Anaesthetics and PACU / Recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care across a range of surgical procedures
• Work alongside experienced surgeons, anaesthetists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Provide care in surgical specialties such as orthopaedics, ophthalmology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, general surgery, gastroenterology, breast surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery, ENT, urology, gynaecology, pain management and day surgery

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration
• Previous perioperative/theatre experience
• Experience in Scrub Scout, Anaesthetics and/or PACU
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Excellent patient care and safety standards
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
