Temporary Human Resources Generalist (Brisbane)

About the role

We are seeking a Temporary Human Resources Generalist to support a busy regional workforce during a key transition period. Working closely with the HR Lead, Resource Manager and Regional Operations Manager, you will help maintain day‑to‑day HR operations for a well‑established organisation in Brisbane’s north.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain employee records and HR data with a focus on accuracy.
• Support payroll processing and general HR administration activities.
• Assist with Employment Hero and other HRIS updates.
• Coordinate onboarding, compliance requirements and mandatory licences.
• Book White Cards, training sessions and other required certifications.
• Provide general HR and administrative support across the team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an HR Administrator or HR Assistant role.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Exposure to payroll support and HR systems.
• Ability to manage compliance and training administration.
• Collaborative, flexible and proactive approach.
