Technical Services Engineer – Fire Suppression (ANZ)

About the role

Johnson Controls is seeking a Technical Services Engineer to provide expert support for fire suppression products across Australia and New Zealand. The role involves troubleshooting, commissioning, and delivering technical training to customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support via phone, email, online channels and onsite visits.
• Support commissioning, troubleshooting and fault‑finding to ensure optimal product performance.
• Develop technical drawings, layouts and engineering documentation for fire suppression solutions.
• Collaborate with global and regional support teams to deliver accurate product information.
• Partner with Business Development Managers to provide technical expertise and sales support.
• Deliver training programs to consultants, engineers, contractors and field service teams.

Required profile

• Experience in fire protection, fire safety, mechanical engineering or related industries.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, datasheets, Australian Standards and industry codes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Technical writing and documentation skills.
