Technical Product Manager - AI Stockbroking

About the role

BJAK is building an AI‑driven Stockbroking Superapp for Southeast Asia, covering payments, remittance, insurance, wealth and trading. The Technical Product Manager will own a product vertical end‑to‑end, shaping strategy, technical design and delivery while ensuring regulatory compliance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the product vertical strategy, roadmap, metrics and priorities.
• Collaborate with engineering to design APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, security and scalability.
• Balance trade‑offs among correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory requirements and user experience.
• Integrate regulatory requirements such as KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy and licensing into the product.
• Apply AI where it adds value, establishing evaluation, safeguards, human oversight and failure handling.
• Coordinate external dependencies including regulatory approvals, financial rails and third‑party partners.
• Align engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury and finance around product decisions and launch requirements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product management experience with ownership of complex technical products from strategy to production.
• Strong technical foundation in system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes and distributed systems.
• Experience in regulated, high‑consequence domains such as payments, banking, remittance, insurance or trading.
• Proven ability to make difficult trade‑offs under technical, regulatory and operational constraints.
• Hands‑on experience building or evaluating LLM/AI products, understanding when AI should or should not be used.
