Technical Lead – Systems Engineering

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead to own client infrastructure and provide senior technical leadership within a growing Managed Services Provider. You will design, deliver, secure and manage Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server and networking environments while acting as the senior escalation point for complex issues.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage Microsoft 365, Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop and on‑premises infrastructure for multiple clients.
• Lead tenant‑to‑tenant migrations, email/domain moves and server/network upgrades.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and act as the senior escalation point for cloud, network and security incidents.
• Implement security controls such as Conditional Access, Intune, Microsoft Defender and email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
• Develop PowerShell scripts, maintain runbooks and improve automation across client environments.

Required profile

• 5+ years of systems engineering or IT support experience, including senior roles in an MSP.
• Proven experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows Server, Active Directory and Intune.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, M365 Fundamentals, CompTIA Network+ or Security+).
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as Essential 8 and SMB 1001.
