Technical Co‑Founder, AI‑Enabled Product & Data Engineering

About the role

Join Repeat Builders as a Technical Co‑Founder to lead the engineering of an AI‑enabled product that already has a working prototype, real users and validated demand. You will work from a shared office at Tech Central alongside other founders and investors, building the product from MVP to market traction.

Key responsibilities

• Ship a functional product surface quickly to gather market feedback within the first sprint.
• Build and maintain the data layer, ingesting, cleaning and joining third‑party data so customers can trust the output.
• Deploy AI models in production, handling real‑time responses and ensuring correctness.
• Make critical technical decisions on build‑buy‑AI‑assist trade‑offs.
• Establish the engineering foundation (repo, CI/CD) for a small founding team.
• Hire and lead the first engineering hires as the venture scales.

Required profile

• Proven full‑stack product delivery experience in a fast‑moving startup or strong engineering team.
• Hands‑on data engineering experience in production, especially with external data sources.
• Daily use of AI/ML tools and ability to judge their practical value.
• Track record of making high‑impact technical decisions with incomplete information.

Required skills

• Full‑stack development (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Node.js, React)
• Data engineering pipelines and integrations
• AI/ML model deployment and monitoring
• Real‑time/low‑latency system design
• LLM feature integration and guardrails
• Geospatial or computer‑vision processing (optional but beneficial)
