Tech Lead, Android Core Product

About the role

This strategic Android engineering position will shape a fast‑growing mobile product used by millions worldwide. You will own major features from concept through release while collaborating closely with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of major Android features, ensuring high‑quality experiences that delight users.
• Shape the Android team’s direction through technical leadership, architectural decisions, and product‑focused thinking.
• Monitor and improve reliability metrics, proactively addressing technical risks.
• Review pull requests, provide constructive feedback, and uphold engineering standards.
• Handle critical incidents, drive rapid resolution, and manage feature releases with nightly builds for QA.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on Android development.
• Hands‑on expertise in Kotlin and modern Android technologies.
• Deep understanding of software architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture) and testing principles.
• Product intuition, user empathy, and proactive mindset for continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a distributed, autonomous environment.
