About the role

Fonda, a Mexican restaurant chain with three locations across Victoria, is hiring team members for its Flinders Lane site in Knox City Centre. This is a permanent part-time position with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts. No prior hospitality experience is required.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet guests in Fonda style
  • Prepare and run orders from the kitchen to the customer
  • Roll burritos, toast quesadillas and shake bulk margaritas
  • Move flexibly between front-of-house and kitchen stations and learn the role of each space
  • Deliver a great guest experience
  • Keep the restaurant clean and tidy, meeting hygiene and safety standards

Required profile

  • Great attitude, eagerness to learn and a passion for people; no prior hospitality experience needed
  • Availability across a mix of weekday and weekend shifts
  • Ongoing full working rights in Australia
