Team Manager – Manufacturing (Day Shift)

About the role

The Team Manager will lead the day‑shift manufacturing workforce at our Chelsea Heights site, producing a wide range of milk‑based beverages and cream products. You will be responsible for driving safety, quality, efficiency and a strong team culture while meeting production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day‑shift crew to achieve quality, safety, cost and customer service goals.
• Maintain Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and lead problem‑solving initiatives.
• Develop short‑ to medium‑term work schedules, approve overtime and allocate resources as needed.
• Support site and team culture and engagement programmes.
• Identify and report non‑compliance with company policies, escalating issues appropriately.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience, preferably in FMCG manufacturing.
• Strong communication, listening and feedback skills.
• Data‑driven decision‑making and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Ability to coach, influence and develop team members.
