Team Leader - Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (Cooktown)

About the role

Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service (TCHHS) is recruiting a Team Leader for its Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (MHAODS) in Cooktown, Far North Queensland. The position is temporary full time, starting immediately and running up to 30 June 2027 with the possibility of extension. It provides advanced professional, clinical, operational and strategic leadership to the service in partnership with the Director MHAODS and the visiting Consultant Psychiatry Service.

The Team Leader manages the delivery of mental health services within a quality improvement framework, across a multidisciplinary team and several sites in the Torres and Cape Region. The role is open to Clinical Nurse Consultants, psychologists, social workers or occupational therapists.

What we offer

• Base salary of $5,390.40-$5,852.40 per fortnight (NRG7) or $5,725.00-$5,966.00 per fortnight (HP5).
