Team Leader - Fulfilment Centre

About the role

eStore Logistics is a market-leading eCommerce and omni-channel third-party logistics provider (3PL) and is hiring several Team Leaders for its fulfilment centres due to continued growth. The main aim of the Team Leader is to lead, coach and mentor a team of DC warehouse staff so that customer orders are prepared and shipped accurately and on time. The role is permanent and full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with management on warehouse operations and plan and coordinate daily activities independently
• Lead, coach and mentor DC warehouse staff; train team members on eStore's standards and methods
• Ensure high standards of safety, environmental sustainability and housekeeping, including daily documented housekeeping inspections
• Keep the work area tidy using 5S principles and ensure equipment is available and in good condition
• Carry out function assessments (process auditing) and report damages and hazards to site leadership
• Take part in safety observations, workplace inspections and incident/hazard reporting
• Execute the allocated area each day, keep inventory accounted for and stored correctly, and resolve inventory issues at first level
• Clear working areas daily and respond promptly to customer service queries

Required profile

• Prior experience in a leadership role (logistics or warehousing desired)
• Previous leadership experience, a technical mindset, accountability and a strong work ethic
• Ability to master a fast-paced, changing environment
• Willingness to take additional training and to work weekends and after-hours shifts, including AM and PM shifts
