Team Leader Fraud

About the role

As the Fraud Investigations Team Leader you will lead, coach and develop a team of Fraud Investigators, ensuring efficient and effective handling of investigations and complaints for Auto & General.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, lead and coordinate investigations and complaints against Auto & General in a timely manner.
• Deliver optimal claims and operating cost outcomes while providing high‑level customer service.
• Determine, implement and maintain investigation frameworks, plans and strategies aligned with legislative responsibilities.
• Provide technical guidance, act as escalation point for potential fraudulent claims and monitor work volumes to meet service levels and KPI targets.
• Identify and champion process improvements, maintain regular reporting and ensure risk management is embedded in team culture.

Required profile

• Strong ability to coach, motivate and influence team members in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, team and management skills with experience in customer resolution.
• Inclusive mindset and ability to work alongside a diverse team.
• Demonstrated knowledge of counter‑fraud techniques and relevant codes of practice.
• Background in a fraud environment and experience handling complex investigations is desirable.
