Team Leader – Driver Training

About the role

Lead, coach and shape the future of driver training at NRMA. You will manage a team of trainers and instructors delivering Driver Training, Safer Drivers Course and Corporate Driver Training programs across NSW.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of driving instructors, facilitators and trainers.
• Support day‑to‑day delivery of Driver Training, Safer Drivers Course and Corporate Driver Training programs.
• Ensure high standards of safety, compliance and service quality across all training activities.
• Use performance data and operational insights to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience leading operational, training, education, logistics or service delivery teams.
• Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics (Road Transport – Car Driving Instruction).
• Current Class C Driver Licence with a satisfactory driving record.
• Current NSW Driving Instructor Licence and Working With Children Check.

• Strong people leadership and coaching ability.
• Ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into action.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem‑solving skills.
