Team Lead - Small Business Lending

About the role

As a Team Lead for Small Business Lending at ANZ, you will guide a group of bankers across Cashflow Solutions, Lending Solutions, Customer Engagement and Remote Optimisation & Delivery. The role balances sales performance, customer experience and risk management while fostering a collaborative, high‑performing culture.

Key responsibilities

• Drive overall sales and revenue performance measured by Business Lending FUM and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Reduce customer and product attrition across Business Lending, Home Lending, Business Accounts and Working Capital.
• Improve Net Promoter Score by delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Manage team productivity through a well‑executed sales operating rhythm, response times and conversion of opportunities.
• Ensure operational and credit risk are well‑managed and compliant.
• Establish a coaching culture that builds deep credit expertise and supports continuous learning.
• Develop strong relationships, influence and collaborate with internal stakeholders to solve complex problems.
• Create a truly customer‑focused culture with quality needs‑based conversations and effective complaint resolution.
• Deliver exceptional customer responsiveness through effective resource planning, rostering and operational efficiencies.
