About the role

The School of Engineering at Macquarie University is inviting expressions of interest for inclusion in its casual academic pool for Session 1 2027. Casual academics support the teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate units offered by the School. Applications close on 27 November 2026.

Required profile

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Engineering or a closely related discipline
• Hands-on experience applying theoretical knowledge to real-world problems and projects
• Understanding and appreciation of scholarly teaching, particularly project-based learning
• Excellent communication skills and proactive student engagement
• Proven ability to interact effectively with students, staff and the community
• Work rights in Australia; the position is not available for visa sponsorship
