Tax & Treasury Analyst – Retail

About the role

As a Tax & Treasury Analyst you will support the Tax & Treasury Manager in delivering accurate tax compliance and efficient treasury operations within a fast‑moving retail environment. You will help safeguard the company’s financial health while gaining exposure to both tax and treasury functions across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Support tax compliance and reporting, including direct and indirect tax, disclosures, transfer pricing and regulatory lodgements.
• Manage day‑to‑day treasury activities such as cash positioning, bank reconciliations, cash‑flow forecasting and treasury reporting.
• Monitor foreign‑exchange exposures, assist with hedging documentation and perform risk analysis.
• Provide financial risk‑management support through liquidity monitoring, interest‑rate exposure analysis and scenario modelling.
• Partner with finance, supply‑chain and commercial teams to deliver insights on working capital, inventory and cash‑flow performance.
• Maintain governance frameworks, treasury policies, audit support and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• CA/CPA qualification.
• 2‑5 years experience in tax, treasury or financial accounting.
• Experience in a multi‑currency environment and knowledge of AASB/IFRS tax effect accounting.
• Retail, FMCG or consumer‑goods industry exposure is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Financial modelling capability.
