Talent Acquisition & Sourcing Advisor (18‑month Fixed Term)

About the role

Join Transgrid’s Talent Acquisition team on an 18‑month fixed‑term contract covering parental leave. Based in Ultimo, you will partner with diverse stakeholder groups across the Delivery business and other areas, helping to build the workforce that powers Australia’s critical energy infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for professional, project, technical, operational, enabling support and field‑based roles.
• Advise leaders on workforce planning, sourcing strategies, remuneration, internal equity and hiring decisions.
• Proactively source, engage and build pipelines through market mapping and direct outreach.
• Manage candidate screening, shortlisting, interview coordination, offer negotiation and onboarding support.
• Contribute to large‑scale hiring campaigns, recruitment technology enhancements and broader People & Culture initiatives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience as a recruiter handling high‑volume and complex hiring.
• Ability to operate autonomously while collaborating with a talent acquisition team.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving organisational priorities.
