Systems Integrator (12‑month contract)

About the role

The Systems Integrator will join Leidos' GEO SPACES Program, supporting critical Defence and national security systems. This 12‑month contract position works within a secure, collaborative engineering environment to sustain and evolve complex operational systems.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance, sustain and integrate systems across the GEO SPACES Program, ensuring solutions remain secure, reliable and aligned with operational requirements.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, software engineers, architects, project teams and stakeholders to investigate issues, implement changes and support engineering decisions throughout the system lifecycle.
• Support Engineering Change Proposals, systems analysis, requirements management and design activities, and work with Configuration Management and Verification & Validation teams to ensure controlled, traceable changes.

Required profile

• Experience in systems engineering, integration or sustainment within complex, Defence or government projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering lifecycles, governance, assurance, risk management and Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• Effective communication skills for engaging both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
