Systems Administrator - Virtual Data Centre

About the role

Leidos Australia is seeking a Systems Administrator to join its Virtual Data Centre team in Canberra. You will support critical programs in the Geospatial domain, ensuring the smooth operation of multi‑user computer systems and collaborating closely with network administrators.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake systems administration tasks for major databases and applications.
• Provide Level 2/3 technical support and resolve complex system issues.
• Detect, isolate and resolve automated information system incidents.
• Collaborate with customer and technical teams to support mission outcomes.
• Maintain virtual server environments and coordinate with network administrators.

Required profile

• Proven experience administering Linux (RHEL) and/or Windows Server environments.
• Experience with virtual server administration tools such as AppV and vSphere.
• Strong scripting skills using PowerShell or Python.
• Ability to create advertisements, collections and packages within an MECM environment.
• Australian citizenship with an NV2 Security Clearance and eligibility for DISA/OSA.
