Systems Administrator / Engineer (APAC)

About the role

State Street is looking for a hands‑on Systems Administrator / Engineer to join the Infrastructure Operations team supporting its SaaS platform and APAC client environments. The role combines Windows and Azure administration with production support, security, automation and a customer‑focused mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server services (AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, DFS, SFTP, SMTP, NTFS permissions, IIS) in production and non‑production environments.
• Operate Microsoft Azure infrastructure – VMs, storage, networking, identity, monitoring, backup and governance.
• Provision client environments, integrate services, configure security and hand over operations.
• Monitor health, capacity and security events; respond to alerts and perform incident remediation.
• Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell and infrastructure‑as‑code practices.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of systems administration or infrastructure operations experience in medium‑to‑large enterprises.
• Strong Windows Server and Azure administration skills with a security‑first mindset.
• Experience with structured incident, problem and change management processes.
• Good written and verbal communication, able to work across global teams and time zones.
