Systems Administrator / Engineer (APAC focus)

About the role

State Street’s Charles River Development is seeking a hands‑on Systems Administrator / Engineer to support its SaaS platform and APAC client environments. The role combines Windows and Azure administration with production support, security, automation and customer focus.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server services (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, DFS, SFTP, SMTP, NTFS permissions, IIS) in production and non‑production environments.
• Operate Microsoft Azure infrastructure – VMs, storage, networking, identity, monitoring, backup, recovery and governance.
• Provision and integrate client environments, including server builds, connectivity, security configuration and handover.
• Monitor health, capacity, performance and security events; respond to alerts and remediate incidents.
• Participate in incident, problem and change management, including root‑cause analysis and audit‑ready documentation.
• Automate repetitive tasks with PowerShell and infrastructure‑as‑code practices.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of systems administration or infrastructure operations experience in medium‑to‑large enterprises.
• Strong Windows Server administration skills and practical experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex incidents across OS, cloud services, networks and applications.
• Security‑first mindset with experience in privileged access management (CyberArk preferred).
• Clear written and verbal communication and ability to work across global teams.
