System Administrator

About the role

Scenic World is looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to lead the design, security and continuous improvement of its core technology platforms. Working in a 7‑day, revenue‑critical attraction environment, you will ensure that our systems are resilient, scalable and support exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer, manage and enhance Microsoft 365 services (Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams).
• Oversee endpoint management, patching and device security across the organisation.
• Design and maintain backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Implement identity and access controls, including user lifecycle automation and privileged access models.
• Apply security frameworks (Essential 8, ISO 27001), analyse vulnerabilities and drive remediation.
• Support network infrastructure for corporate users, POS, CCTV, access control and guest/event connectivity.
• Develop technical standards, documentation and runbooks; assist with audits.
• Collaborate with the Head of IT on hardware/software roadmaps and group‑level initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in systems administration within a complex, operational environment.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and framework alignment.
• Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
