Surveyor / Senior Surveyor – Major Projects (FIFO & DIDO)

About the role

Bennett + Bennett is seeking expressions of interest from Surveyors and Senior Surveyors to join major infrastructure and construction projects in Australia, with FIFO and DIDO roster options. Most commonly 2:1 and 7:7 rosters, the work supports the Site Team Leader, either independently or in a back-to-back arrangement, and offers flexible schedules alongside experienced project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project survey control networks.
• Deliver construction set-out and verification surveys.
• Manage survey data workflows and quality assurance processes.
• Prepare and review as-constructed and conformance deliverables.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering and construction teams.
• Mentor and support junior surveyors and field crews.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of survey systems, processes and project delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Engineering Surveyor on major civil, rail, transport or infrastructure projects.
• Relevant qualification in Surveying, Spatial Science or equivalent.
• Ability to manage survey deliverables in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach with construction and engineering teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with 12d Model and 12d Field.
• Sound understanding of survey control, construction set-out and as-constructed workflows.
