Surgical IOL Manager – Queensland (Remote)

About the role

Alcon is seeking a motivated Surgical IOL Manager to lead the growth of its intra‑ocular lens portfolio across Queensland. Working remotely, you will partner with surgical facilities, account managers and pricing teams to deliver tailored solutions and drive market share.

Key responsibilities

• Generate total IOL revenue and increase market share within the territory.
• Accelerate adoption of presbyopia‑correcting IOLs (PCIOL) and manage the Accelerator program in selected accounts.
• Coordinate tender requirements and collaborate with internal teams to secure contracts.
• Utilise MyAlcon360 and consignment processes to optimise customer operations.
• Develop new business opportunities and achieve sales targets.
• Maintain and grow relationships with key customers while providing competitive product positioning.
• Report competitor activity and uphold Alcon’s brand image.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in optometry, orthoptics or a related eye‑care field.
• 2‑3 years of customer‑facing experience in a surgical or medical environment.
• Strong knowledge of intra‑ocular lens products and ophthalmic procedures.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, resilient and goal‑oriented with strong analytical skills.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
