Student Support Tutor – Distance Education

About the role

The Department of Education and Training is seeking a Student Support Tutor to provide high‑quality educational programmes for distance‑learning students, including those with additional needs. Working closely with families and school staff, the tutor will help achieve optimal learning outcomes for students across the Alice Springs region.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate educational programmes for remote learners.
• Support students with additional needs through tailored interventions.
• Collaborate with families and teaching staff to monitor progress.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement and engagement.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of distance‑education delivery.

• Experience working in an educational or support role, preferably within a distance‑learning environment.
