Strings Instrumental Music Teacher

About the role

St Augustine's College, a Catholic College for boys (Year 7 to Year 12) in the Marist tradition, is looking for a Strings Instrumental Music Teacher. The position is part-time permanent, at 6 hours per week, with a negotiable start date. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until the role is filled.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver effective learning and teaching programs
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the school objectives and school planning
• Help establish and maintain a supportive school environment
• Work under the direction of the school Principal or delegate

Required profile

• Registered or eligible to be registered with the Queensland College of Teachers
• Professional qualifications in education
• Demonstrated teaching experience in the areas listed in the role
• Full support for the ethos of Catholic Education
• Commitment to creating and maintaining a child-safe organisation

• Salary commensurate with experience, from $86,600 for graduates to $147,048 FTE gross per year for lead teachers
