Storeperson – Warehouse Operations (Port Hedland)

About the role

Join the Port Hedland team of a leading Australian marine operator as a Storeperson. You will ensure the safe and efficient day‑to‑day operation of the warehouse, supporting the supply chain through material handling, housekeeping and accurate data entry.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and keep housekeeping standards across all storage facilities.
• Unload, receipt and distribute parts and supplies as ordered or requisitioned.
• Organise and collect locally sourced requisitions for purchasing.
• Use Pronto ERP, Canvas and Cognos for stock control, reporting and purchase processing.
• Conduct rolling stocktakes and full year‑end stocktakes, updating the system for any variances.
• Support overall logistics functions and assist the Supply Chain Coordinator with inventory management.
• Lead and participate in continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement or warehouse roles within marine or mining environments (desirable).
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems (desirable).
• Forklift licence and LR licence (or ability to obtain).
• High attention to detail, problem‑solving ability and professional presentation.
• Capable of working under pressure with multiple priorities, both independently and as part of a team.
