Storeperson - Warehouse

About the role

Motion is hiring a full-time permanent Storeperson for its Welshpool branch. The role ensures industrial products are received, stored, picked and dispatched accurately and efficiently, supporting customers and essential industries. It suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced warehouse environment, takes pride in accuracy and customer service and works well in a team. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, check and put away incoming stock accurately.
• Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders efficiently and safely.
• Assist with general warehouse and store operations to keep the branch running smoothly.
• Maintain stock accuracy through inventory handling and stock control.
• Assist customers with product, order, stock availability, delivery and account enquiries by phone and email.
• Work with branch and internal teams to deliver reliable customer service.
• Assist with local customer deliveries when required.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a receiving, dispatch, picking and packing or warehouse role.
• A current driver's licence.
• A current forklift licence is desirable.
• Commitment to safe work practices and warehouse housekeeping.
• Good attention to detail, especially when receiving stock and preparing orders.
• Confident communication skills, a professional phone manner and a customer-focused, collaborative approach.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
• Experience or knowledge of mining, bearings or power transmission products is highly regarded.
• Candidates must be an Australian citizen or hold an Australian permanent residency visa.
