Storeperson - Orange Branch

About the role

Motion, a provider of industrial products including bearings, power transmission and fluid power fittings, is hiring a Storeperson for its Orange branch. The role ensures products are received, stored, picked and dispatched accurately and efficiently, in a fast-paced warehouse environment. It is a permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with weekends off.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, check and put away incoming stock accurately.
• Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders efficiently and safely.
• Assist with general warehouse and store operations.
• Maintain stock accuracy through inventory handling and stock control.
• Answer customer enquiries about products, orders, stock availability, delivery and accounts by phone and email.
• Help with local customer deliveries when required.
• Keep the workplace clean, organised and safe.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a receiving, dispatch, picking and packing or warehouse role.
• Current driver's licence.
• A current forklift licence is desirable.
• Commitment to safe work practices and warehouse housekeeping.
• Attention to detail, good communication skills and a customer-focused, collaborative approach.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
• Eligibility: Australian citizen or permanent resident visa holder.
