Store Person - Underground Mining

About the role

Barminco, part of the Perenti Group, is recruiting a Store Person for its underground mining operations. The role sits in a team that values safety, respect and growth, with opportunities available at multiple sites throughout Western Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Manually and mechanically assist with daily loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight
• Maintain a safe work environment in line with company policies and procedures
• Assist with daily stores duties, goods receiving, stocktaking and stock control

Required profile

• Valid forklift licence
• At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Valid Australian HR drivers licence
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to site procedures
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team
• Ability to meet site access requirements, including medical, DAS, NPC and a valid manual driver's licence
• Proof of working rights in Australia

Pre-employment requirements include a medical assessment, drug and alcohol screening and a valid national police clearance.
