About the role
An engineering company in Australia is hiring experienced steel welders for truck and heavy vehicle fabrication. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in steel welding, truck fabrication and heavy vehicle structural work.
Key responsibilities
- Perform steel welding and fabrication work on trucks and heavy vehicles
- Weld truck bodies, chassis and structural components
- Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans
- Operate welding tools and fabrication equipment safely
- Ensure welding quality, accuracy and safety compliance
- Complete work within production timelines
Required profile
- Proven experience in truck welding and heavy vehicle fabrication
- Must currently be based in Australia
Required skills
- MIG/TIG/ARC steel welding
- Reading technical drawings and measurements
- Knowledge of welding safety standards and procedures
