Statutory Site Supervisor - Remote Operations Team Lead

About the role

A West Australian business that extracts, refines and distributes a naturally occurring resource from a lake near Koolyanobbing is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to lead a small operations team. It is a drive-in/drive-out role based about 40 minutes north of Southern Cross, WA, and requires a Schedule 26 qualification. The supervisor oversees daily site operations, maintains safety and compliance, coordinates mobile plant and supports productivity and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of 3-4 Site Operators, with structured crew handovers
• Coordinate daily activities of mobile and civil plant (dozers, loaders, excavators, rollers, water carts)
• Allocate tasks and monitor productivity
• Maintain safety and environmental compliance
• Oversee washing, blending and irrigation processes
• Communicate with management on production and maintenance needs
• Assist with basic mechanical troubleshooting

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Leading Hand or supervisor in mining, quarrying or civil operations
• Schedule 26 certification (or willingness to obtain it)
• Current driver's licence and own transport to site
• National police clearance and ability to pass pre-employment medical
• Ability to work in a small, remote team

Required skills

• Strong experience operating mobile plant equipment
• HR or HC licence highly regarded
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
