State Training Manager – Queensland

About the role

Rentokil Initial is seeking a State Training Manager to lead technical and compliance training across Queensland. You will ensure that frontline staff are competent, licensed, and meet both internal standards and legislative requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nationally recognised RTO training and maintain auditable records for internal and external audits, including ASQA.
• Coordinate pest‑management, fumigation, and safe‑work‑procedure training aligned with company risk controls.
• Conduct field assessments and workplace observations to verify competency in high‑risk activities.
• Support branch teams with training needs analysis and maintain compliance registers for licences and authorisations.
• Use the Learning Management System (LMS) to track evidence, generate compliance reports, and ensure audit readiness.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
• Certificate III in Urban Pest Management.
• Queensland Pest Management Technician Licence (or ability to obtain) and a valid driver’s licence.
• Minimum 5 years operational pest‑management experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience in training, coaching, or competency assessment.
• Preferred: Diploma or higher in Training, Compliance or WHS; fumigation licence; experience in an ASQA‑regulated RTO environment.
