Staging Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Staging Engineer to join a high‑performing team responsible for preparing, configuring and testing mobile devices and associated ICT infrastructure for deployment. The role is based on‑site in Kemps Creek, NSW and is critical to delivering secure, ready‑to‑use mobile solutions for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, stage and test smartphones, tablets and related connectivity equipment.
• Commission ICT hardware such as routers, switches and wireless devices.
• Perform device provisioning, software installation, configuration and quality‑assurance testing.
• Maintain task updates in service‑management tools and adhere to project timelines and SLAs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents affecting device performance or connectivity.
• Keep accurate inventory records, asset registers and technical documentation.
• Ensure deployments meet security standards, operational procedures and customer requirements.
• Identify and suggest improvements to staging processes and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Experience configuring and staging mobile devices (smartphones, tablets).
• Strong understanding of mobile device management and deployment processes.
• Background supporting ICT hardware and connectivity technologies.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet project deadlines.
• Experience using ticketing or service‑management systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
