Staff Product Designer

About the role

Linktree is expanding its platform beyond a link‑in‑bio tool into a creator‑focused control centre. As a Staff Product Designer you will own core product surfaces, shape ambiguous problems into polished experiences, and raise the design bar across the team.

Key responsibilities

• Own a core surface or problem area end‑to‑end, from problem framing to shipping high‑craft work.
• Set direction and raise quality standards, influencing product, engineering, research and design systems.
• Work across the full design craft: product thinking, interaction, visual design, and high‑fidelity prototyping.
• Leverage AI tools throughout exploration, prototyping and delivery, and help advance the practice.

Required profile

• Versatile product designer with a strong “spike” – demonstrated excellence in a particular area and a broad portfolio.
• Staff‑level impact: able to set direction and raise the bar beyond personal work.
• Low ego, high collaboration mindset; empathy for creators and the creator economy is a plus.
• Systems thinking – design patterns that scale across surfaces and teams.

Required skills

• AI‑augmented design workflows.
• Design systems and pattern libraries.
• High‑fidelity prototyping to production fidelity.

What we offer

• Competitive base salary $210,000‑$250,000 (US) plus equity and benefits.
• Flexible work arrangements – fully remote or hybrid.
• Annual wellbeing allowance, comprehensive health coverage, retirement contributions.
• Generous vacation, parental leave, volunteer time and stock option program.
