Staff Product Designer

About the role

Airwallex is looking for a Staff Product Designer to shape and evolve its suite of financial products. You will work cross‑functionally with product managers, engineers, strategists and writers to define problems, map user flows, prototype interactions and launch new services.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Product Strategists, and Writers to define problems, map user flows, prototype interactions and launch new products and services.
• Indirectly lead a team of designers, product managers and engineers as the de‑facto creative director for innovative projects.
• Build strong relationships with leaders across the organization and demonstrate executive stakeholder management.
• Apply research methods and understand technological, business and user constraints to inform design decisions.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in product design with excellent UX, visual and interaction skills.
• Proven ability to define direction, set process and lead teams through it.
• Experience motivating small to medium teams to transform products and navigating ambiguity.
• Systems‑thinking mindset with the ability to design beyond pixels, including offline experiences.
• Strong storytelling, presentation and stakeholder management capabilities.
