Sport and Lifestyle Team Leader

About the role

The Sport and Lifestyle Team Leader will oversee operations at the Roxby Link facility, guiding a dedicated team to deliver sport, recreation and wellbeing programs that enrich the community.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop a diverse team to achieve operational excellence, including supervising Facility Supervisors and assisting the Sport & Rec Coordinator.
• Coordinate sport, recreation and wellbeing programs, support community events, and ensure a safe, welcoming, inclusive environment.
• Maintain high standards of facility presentation, cleanliness and customer service, and manage risk, incident reporting and WHS practices.
• Assist with planning, budgeting, grants, procurement and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Proactive, community‑focused leader with strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑management experience, able to motivate and develop staff.
• Customer‑focused approach with commitment to inclusion, accessibility and organisational efficiency.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications in a recreation or community services setting.
