Splunk Technical Leader – Customer Success

About the role

As a Customer Success Technical Leader you will act as the Splunk expert for Cisco’s customers, guiding account teams and customers to maximise the value of the Splunk platform. You will partner with Sales, Customer Success and Technical Success Engineers to deliver strategic, high‑impact solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver onboarding workshops, enablement sessions and health reviews to achieve onboarding milestones and drive adoption.
• Provide strategic, case‑based consulting (up to 90 days) on Splunk Enterprise Security, UBA/UEBA and SOAR implementations.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Success Executives to support value realization and address risk accounts.
• Proactively engage Technical Success Engineers and Customer Success Executives on use‑case activation and renewal opportunities.

Required profile

• Positive Vetting (PV) or NV1/NV2 security clearance.
• Deep technical knowledge of Splunk Enterprise Security configuration, assets, threat intelligence and risk analytics.
• Experience with data onboarding, Common Information Model (CIM) and SPL rule development.
• Solid foundation in cybersecurity operations, threat hunting and compliance frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS, HIPAA, PCI DSS).

• Search Processing Language (SPL) and correlation rule development.
• Data onboarding, CIM mapping and data management.
• Scripting (Bash) and programming (Java, Python.NET).
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
