Speech Pathologist

About the role

Ability Action Australia, a national therapy services provider, is recruiting a Speech Pathologist in Hobart. Its clinicians help people of all ages and abilities reach their goals, and the employer says it will match the caseload to your experience and interests.

Key responsibilities

• Early Years caseload: clinic-based early intervention and parent training
• School-aged children: literacy, social communication skills and AAC
• Adults: speech, language and social skills training, including services for adults with acquired brain injury such as stroke and progressive neurological conditions
• Dysphagia management, mealtime assessment and food aversion caseload for all age groups

Required profile

• A team player eager to learn from and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
• Someone who wants to improve the lives of people living with a disability
• Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia as a Speech Pathologist
