About the role

Join HammondCare as a Home Care Worker providing essential, practical care for older people in their own homes across Melbourne’s north‑west suburbs. You will travel to clients’ homes using your own vehicle and receive compensation for mileage and travel time.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day personal care and support to clients, promoting independence.
• Build meaningful relationships and provide companionship to improve quality of life.
• Travel to client homes (up to 1 hour travel) using your own car, with reimbursement of $0.99 per km plus paid travel time.

Required profile

• Female applicants only, as the role is gender‑specific under anti‑discrimination legislation.
• Available to work on Thursdays and Fridays.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to an insured, reliable car (minimum third‑party property insurance).
• Previous experience in aged or community care is preferred, but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Ability to provide personal care and support to older adults.
• Safe driving and navigation of Melbourne’s north‑west suburbs.
