Spa Receptionist – Virginia

About the role

As the first point of contact for members, you will represent Merse Wellness Spa’s premium brand and ensure smooth daily operations at the front desk. This fast‑paced role blends customer service, sales, and operational duties in a high‑energy, luxury wellness environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet members, conduct spa tours and manage bookings using the spa’s reservation system.
• Handle phone enquiries, feedback and member communications with professionalism.
• Promote membership sales and uptake of services through natural, solution‑focused conversations.
• Maintain spa presentation, including linen, stock levels and facility readiness.
• Support opening and closing procedures and assist the Spa Manager with daily operations.
• Uphold health, safety and service standards across all areas.

Required profile

• Previous experience in customer‑facing roles within a spa, wellness, hospitality or related environment (preferred).
• Professional appearance and confident communication style.
• Strong customer focus with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Comfortable working in a sales‑driven setting and meeting targets.
• Highly organised, able to multitask and prioritise effectively.
• Proactive, reliable attitude with a solid work ethic.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Australian working rights.

Required skills

• Tech‑savvy with the ability to learn new booking and POS systems quickly.
