About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Sous Chef to support the Head Chef at Hotel Victor. You will step in to lead the kitchen when the Head Chef is away, ensuring every service runs smoothly and guests enjoy memorable dishes.
Key responsibilities
- Lead kitchen shifts, mentor staff and maintain high culinary standards.
- Oversee food preparation, plating and quality control for all service periods.
- Manage inventory, stock deliveries and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high‑volume pub or similar hospitality environment.
- Current food safety certifications and up‑to‑date cooking credentials.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

- Food safety certification and compliance.
