Sonographer

About the role

Apex Radiology, part of Integral Diagnostics, is seeking an experienced Sonographer for its Bunbury team on a full-time or part-time basis, Monday to Friday. The team works within a well-established imaging network with modern equipment, experienced Radiologists and a collaborative Sonography team focused on high-quality imaging and patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of ultrasound examinations, including General, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Musculoskeletal, Small Parts and Vascular imaging.
• Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging while providing compassionate and professional patient care.
• Assist Radiologists with ultrasound-guided interventional procedures.
• Work with Sonographers, Radiographers, Radiologists, administration teams and referrers.
• Maintain a focus on clinical quality, patient safety and best-practice imaging.
• Support and mentor trainee Sonographers, contributing to clinical education and training.

Required profile

• A Graduate Diploma or Master of Medical Sonography accredited by ASAR.
• Current ASAR accreditation, or eligibility to obtain it.
• Experience across General Ultrasound; skills in MSK, Vascular, Obstetrics and Gynaecology are highly regarded.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Australian working rights or eligibility for employer-sponsored visa support.
